Tennis was the first outdoor game of our club.we have well maintained two clay courts. Our tennis members have brought laurels to our club, winning every year in the competitions conducted by various sports clubs. Our Tennis coach Mr.A.Vaidhyalingam, a certified coach by All India Tennis Association, International Tennis Federation and Certified Professional Coach by United States Tennis Association gives coaching to the budding children and young students and prepares them to participate in tennis tournaments. Many parents wish their wards to get coaching from him , the time slots in the day time is fully occupied by existing children, we have decided to upgrade our tennis courts with flood lights to increase the coaching time. The morning time is between 6.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m.is meant for members only .Evening times starts from 3.00 p.m.to sun set.
We have two synthetic badminton courts of international standards. Our 25 years experience badminton coach Mr.Rajavel M.Phil, who himself is a National player holding Form II & Form III certificates has produced more than 30 students who have played and won District, State and National level winners in all under 13,15,17,& 19 categories. We are proud to state that our student Master has won National level championship under !8 of the All India Sports Council of The Deaf for the year 2023 and going to represent our country in the International Badminton Tournament to be conducted in January 2024. The playing hours for members are from 5-30 a.m to 10-30 a.m. and for students between 3.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.
Our club features with a well maintained air conditioned billiards hall with a classic English billiards table imported from England. The spacious Hall allows the players to move around the table freely. The lightings are fitted in such a way that the table is shadow-free to augment comfortable game to the players.
Every year we sponsor and conduct Chess Tournaments for the school children of Salem District in association with The Salem District Chess Association, affiated to The Tamil Nadu State Chess Association. Our club has donated a coveted Rolling Trophy to the Association which is presented to the winning school every year in Under 16 category. Apart from this trophy shields and prize money in cash are also awarded to the winners under 10. under 14 and under 16 categories. Thanks to Mr.N.Arun ,the secretary of Salem District Chess association since 1973 for his sincere cooperation and efforts with our club.
We honestly agree that we have only one Carrom table, though we have 4 to 5 carom boards in stock .Many of our members wait for their turn and play. Hence our future plan is to have a spacious room and install some more carom tables.
For the recreation of our members and affiliated members, our club features three spacious AC halls to play Rummy and pool games. Dependent children are not allowed to use.
